As we try to cook with as many fresh ingredients as possible, I’m always looking for ways to speed up the prep process as it usually entails a lot of chopping before ever getting to the stove. This thing is a little on the long side, but it’s not too thick, so it easily fits into your drawer or cupboard. It takes a little getting used to with the different settings… the directions were not much help, but I recommend getting a potato or carrot, and practicing with it to determine which knob does what. With a little trial and error, you can figure it out no problem. It seems well-made and so far not any issues with the build quality. Please note, even when using the catch tray for the slices of veggies, it tends to leak juice all over the counter. Even though it’s nice that it has the suction cups to stick to the counter, I’ve been using it directly on my chopping board, so juice doesn’t run all over the counter.
